Have you ever bought trays of colourful cookies… which all taste very much the same? Would you like a cookie that will light up your tastebuds… and your guests’ too? And most importantly, is a chocolate cookie THE cookie for you?
Our cookies don’t come in fancy colours or cute shapes. They’re mostly brown, as we don’t how to do a cookie that DOESN”T have chocolate in it. AND by chocolate, we mean pure cocoa butter and top-grade chocolate couverture.
What matters is…. our cookies taste GOOD. Since the launch of Masala and Chocolate earlier this year, some of our friends who tasted our occasional cookie giveaways have been asking if we take Raya orders. Hence, here’s our very own M & C Hari Raya Cookie Collection, featuring 6 of my family favourites:
ChocaChunk: Why use little chocolate chips when you can use CHUNKS? A crispy shell encases oozy chunks of chocolate, and stripes of home-made fudge only add to the bliss.
Make a Date: A dense, dark chocolate cookie, made moist and chewy with a special secret – luscious dates. Not a fan of dates? (we mean the fruit J) You might not even know you’re eating them!
Toffee Almond: Crispy shortbread slathered with fudge and left to cool, then studded with toasted almond slivers. For nut-loving chocoholics and everyone else.
CocoBlondie: Some like it Hot… but most like it Chocolatey! These chewy coconut squares pumped full of chocolate morsels and decorated with white chocolate will remind you of those traditional multicoloured coconut candies… but BETTER.
CocoYoyo: Dainty shortbread circles hugging homemade chocolate buttercream. Small enough for you eat 1, 2, 3… or a dozen at one go. A kids' favourite!
Vanilla Kisses (NEW!): By request, we have included just ONE non-choc cookie to brighten up your festive table - these custardy melt-in-the-mouth whirls sanwiching lite vanilla buttercream. Just like our Yoyos, you won't stop at one.
